Do you have a recipe for homemade ice cream using an electric motor (4 QT) ice cream maker?

My daughter has one and mixtures of purchase when using whole milk are not very good. More like milk, ice and not very tasty. So she is looking for a solution to make the taste more like ice cream real bargains. Can you help?
