I heard that you can make ice cream in a bowl and place in a large container full of salt and ice, but do not know if this process of working with large quantities. someone can give me some ideas on how to accomplish this difficult task? thanks!

You need to have something like a 55-gallon drum containing the internal container and all of the salt. How in the world which is nearly freezing of the contents?
